Sean Hillman Professional Resource Officer
Sean joined the Faculty Association as its first Professional Resource Officer in August 2007. As PRO, Sean’s main focus is on labour relations issues, including grievances and collective agreement negotiations. He is also involved in research projects on behalf of the FA executive, involving topics such as policy making and governance issues.
Prior to joining the FA, Sean was the Business Manager for the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 4163, which represents Sessional Instructors, Teaching Assistants, and ESL teachers at the University of Victoria. Sean earned his Bachelor of Laws from Dalhousie University in 1999 and spent some time in private legal practice in Campbell River, BC.
Celine Miller Executive/Administrative Assistant
A MacEwan graduate, Celine joined the Faculty Association in May 2008. Prior to that, she was a long-time MacEwan employee, spending nearly 14 years with Faculty Development and five years prior to that with the School of Business. A mother of two, she is also an active member of Girl Guides of Canada as a Guide Unit Leader.
